The popular five star hotel Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort hosted “DHAKA REGENCY Presents TRAVEL VLOGGERS’ MEETUP 2023” for the first time with all renowned & popular travel influencers & Blogger at its most popular outlet “Grill on the Skyline” On 25th November 2023, offered an ideal backdrop for this convergence of travel enthusiasts, showcasing world-class hospitality and facilities.This event aimed to bring together influential travel bloggers from around the country to exchange insights, experiences, and foster meaningful connections within the travel community.

In present times, the necessity of a paid guide is diminishing due to social media. YouTube, Facebook, and numerous travel vlogs regarding tours, are very organized guidelines which are much better alternatives to hiring a tour guide.
The Travel Meet-Up Season – 1 at Dhaka Regency was a resounding success, uniting passionate individuals and fostering collaborations within the vibrant travel blogging community.This event was inaugurated with cake cutting at 4:00 PM with the presence of renowned travel bloggers& influencers and also with the associates of Dhaka Regency. Tiham Traveller and TravelWithAnib were not present at the meet-up due to unavoidable circumstances.
The meet-up started at 3:00 pm and continued up to 8:00 pm.The travel bloggers discussed many things during their 5-hour long chat. Their discussion highlighted on how to improve their vlogs, places that are not covered yet that can be introduced to the travel-loving people, future plans of the bloggers, etc. And the Attendees benefited from Engaging panel discussions exploring the latest trends and challenges in travel content creation and digital storytelling, Interactive workshops focusing on innovative strategies for social media engagement, monetization, and audience growth in the travel niche, Valuable networking opportunities that fostered meaningful connections and potential collaborations among participants, Exclusive engagement between sponsors, brands, and influential figures in the travel blogging sphere etc.
At one point, they talked about the tourism in Bangladesh. The vloggers sought help from the Bangladesh Tourism Board and related organization to create better vlogs as the creation of better vlogs needs a considerable amount of time and finances. Truly speaking, the vloggers are working as a part of Bangladesh Tourism Board, and cordially made an appeal to the Tourism Board along with Bangladesh’s Government to extend their hand to this great effort of the vloggers.
One of the most interesting parts of the meet-up was BBQ Dinner with a raffle draw session where the first prize was Dhaka-Bankok-Dhaka couple air ticket sponsored by US Bangla Airlines. The second prize was a one-night family stay in the highest room category Presidential Suit with the Grandiose Restaurant Buffet sponsored by Dhaka Regency Hotel and Resort. Lastly, third prize was Dhaka-Cox’s-Dhaka couple air ticket sponsored by Air Astra.
The whole arrangement was coordinated by the proprietor of Sayem’s World and travel vlogger, Abu Sayem Chowdhury. Also, the overall arrangement was assisted by Md.
