Bashundhara Food & Beverage’s “Truck Sale” program inaugurate

Staff Reporter:  Bashundhara Food Divisions has started truck sale activities at 100 spots in 64 districts under the slogan “Bashundhara’s products for the consumer”. Mr. Safiyat Sobhan, Vice Chairman of Bashundhara Group, and AHM Safikuzzaman, Director General of Consumer Rights Protection Directorate inaugurated the ‘Truck Sale’ program at Bashundhara Industrial Head Quarters-2 in the capital in the morning.

Mr. Safiyat Sobhan said, “Basundhara Group has always been working for the welfare of the country and the people. We conducted our activities in this holy month of RAMADAN with greater scope.

Mr. Redowanur Rahman (Head of Sales, Bashundhara Food Divisions and Bashundhara LPG) said, “Every year there is volatility in the market before two Eids, as a result customers difficult to get products at affordable prices. Keeping the consumers in mind, this year we have launched “Basundhara products at affordable prices” at a total of 100 locations in all the districts on a large scale this year. We will continue this program across the country every year as directed by our Vice Chairman.

Director General (Additional Secretary) National Consumer Protection Directorate AHM Safikuzzaman thanked Bashundhara Food and Beverage and said, we hope that Bashundhara’s initiative will have a positive impact on our product supply system. As a result of Bashundhara’s activities, the market will be stable.

Every day from morning to evening, this truck sale program of 101 consumable products including Bashundhara oil, flour, semai, turmeric, pepper will be run.

A customer can buy maximum one product from one category. If the buyer wants to buy oil, then he can buy any bottle of oil (1 or 2 or 5 liters). All products including flour, spices, tea, sugar powder and rice have to be purchased according to this rule. So as to ensure maximum consumer participation under this program.
