Holiday Post News: Throughout life we carry various forms of trauma, anger, resentment, etc. Our wisdom fair is the place where instead of suppressing their feelings they can express it through an artistic medium. Wisdom Fair combines psychology and art to demonstrate how we can express our repressed emotions. There was Panel Dedication, Sound Therapy, Magic Show performing arts, Generational Trauma play, Coffee Counseling, Social Conditioning play, Meditation & Mindfulness session, Live Acoustic performance, Love language tests and other art installations.
Wisdom Fair 2024 was inaugurated by the Honorable Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation Atiqul Islam. Followed by a panel discussion by the Honorable Chief Guest Siobhan Kerr, First Secretary of the Canadian High commission. And Md. Salim Hossain, (Associate Professor Department of Psychology, Dhaka university) and Danny Amin from Majhamajhi were present there.
On the occasion, First Secretary Siobhan Kerr said that “Such initiatives are very necessary for the mental and social development of people and the Canadian High Commission will always cooperate in such events”. Danny Amin of the Majhamajhi said that “We are happy to organize such a psychological Art event and aspire to conduct similar ones in every district in near future.”
The aim of this event is breaking the chain, fostering awareness about sexual and mental trauma and offering solutions for individuals to overcome these challenges and improve their lives. The two-day wisdom fair (29th February & 1st March) was held at Gulshan 2 Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park from 10 am to 9 pm. Wisdom Fair 2024 was funded by Canada Fund for Local initiative, a project of the Canadian High Commission.
The program was implemented by Majhamajhi and Moulovi Abdul Hye Memorial Trust(MAHM). Wisdom fair 2024 , the title sponsor was Prime Bank and platinum sponsor was Keya cosmetics limited.
