Radio Capital launches drama, music channels

Staff Reporter: Radio Capital has launched two new channels for drama and music on the YouTube platform to connect audiences with signature content.

Two channels named “Capital Drama” and “Capital Music” started their journey on YouTube under the management of Radio Capital 94.8 FM on Saturday.

Bashundhara Group Chairman’s Media Adviser Abdul Bari, Secretary Masudur Rahman Manna and Head of Radio Capital Anwarul Alam Sajal were present as guests at the launching ceremony held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

Radio Capital will create its own drama and music content for these two channels.

Singers, drama directors, actors and actresses were present on the occasion. “In addition to studies and sports, we have an opportunity to work more on the world that we have for entertainment. We are going to start two channels named Capital Drama and Capital Music,” said Masudur Rahman Manna.

Abdul Bari said that Bashundhara Group accomplishes a lot of service work through various institutions, including schools, colleges, and madrashas.

“Every month, about 3,000 students are regularly provided with merit scholarships. Bashundhara Group is starting drama production through Radio Capital,” he said.

Radio Capital Head Anwarul Alam Sajal said that Capital Drama has been started with six productions.

“Four of them have been completed. Two more will be produced after Eid-ul-Azha. After all, 36 productions will come out in a year. These dramas will be for viewers of all ages and classes,” he said.

Actress Keya Payel said that Bashundhara has stepped forward to promote healthy entertainment. “It will lead to producing more dramas, and this news gives us hope,” she said.
