Staff Reporter: We are deeply saddened by the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia, three-time elected Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Her demise marks the end of a significant chapter in Bangladesh’s political history, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, resilience, and profound national impact.

As one of the most prominent political figures of independent Bangladesh, Begum Khaleda Zia played a decisive role in shaping the nation’s democratic trajectory.
