Staff Reporter: In order to speed up the overall activities of Grameen Bank, an exchange meeting was held with all levels of employees of Comilla zone of the institution. 600 officers-employees of 76 branches of Grameen Bank of Comilla region along with senior officers of the bank participated in the exchange meeting on Saturday Comilla Police Lines Shahid R. I. A.B.M. Abdul Halim Auditorium.
Presided over by Jonal Manager S.M. Ashekur Rahman. As the chief guest, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grameen Bank Prof. Dr. AKM Saiful Majid. Noor Mohammad, managing director of the bank was present as the guest of honor. Deputy Managing Director Pradeep Kumar Saha was the special guest. Anju Ara Begum, Head of Branch Management Department Eastern Region, Barrister Masood Akhtar, Chief Legal Adviser of Grameen Bank.
Chairman of Grameen Bank Prof. Dr. AKM Saiful Majid said, in the chief guest’s speech called for planting trees to deal with the adverse effects of climate change.
At present, we have to do more new work with the aim of increasing the reputation of Grameen Bank by facing various challenges. Managing Director of Grameen Bank Noor Mohammad said, borrowers should be diligent in increasing deposits and recovering irregular loans by ensuring maximum service to every member.
