Holiday Post Desk: AKM Sajjad Hossain has been appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Grameen Bank. Previously, he worked as a director at the private organization ASA International. He also held various leadership positions in the microfinance programs of BRAC and BRAC International.
Sajjad Hossain started his career in the IT sector after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science from North South University in 2005. He completed his MBA and MPA in finance from Dhaka University.
Sajjad Hossain has over 16 years of professional experience in the microfinance sector across Asia and Africa. After assuming office, he expressed his hope that he would work to further accelerate Grameen Bank’s activities for poverty alleviation and economic development of the country. says press release
