Staff Reporter: Bashundhara group’s has distributed another 7000 blankets in the 2nd step in three spots in Rupganj Upazila at Narayanganj 4000 blankets were distributed in Bagan Bari, 1000 in Atlapur and 2000 in front of Rajuk office Sector 21 in Purbachal from Tuesday morning.
Director of East West Media Group and Editor in Chief of Kaler Kantha Imdadul Haque Milan, was present as the chief guest at the event. Also Senior Executive director Md. Liakot Hossain, senior general manager Abu hena, Mayor Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, kanchon Pouroshoba and local public representives were presents.
Imdadul Haque Milan said, today we are distributing seven thousand blankets. We are distributing blankets in other place of the country. Every year we distribute approximately three lac blankets across the country, as people do not suffer during winter. Yesterday I was distribute in Rupganj.
Our aim is that, no one should suffer in this winter. In addition to this, we are responsible for teaching any talented male or female student, if they come to us for studies. Also if any poor person cannot get treatment, it is our responsibility to treat him. We want to do a lot of work in this area. as the people here live well.
Mayor Rafiqul Islam said that, the honorable Chairman and Managing Director of Bashundhara Group are always working for the welfare of Rupganj residents. They stay by our side in any happy or sad situation. In continuation of this, 50,000 blankets will be distributed among the underprivileged in Rupganj this winter.
Earlier on Monday (January 15) at Naora Haji Yead Ali School and College ground of Kayetpara Union, Bashundhara Group distributed 10,000 blankets among helpless, distressed and cold people.
