AKIJ Resource Unveils Advanced Feeds to Elevate Livestock Production in Bangladesh


Holiday Post: AKIJ Agro Feed Ltd., a part of AKIJ Resource, has officially launched a wide range of high-quality feed products to empower livestock farmers and agro-entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. This new product catalog, recently unveiled at an event at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, promises to meet the quality demands of dealers, farmers, and nutritionists. Under the slogan “Result Hit,” the initiative is set to revolutionize the agricultural sector by boosting growth and productivity in poultry, cattle, and fish farming. By harnessing the power of advanced European machinery, AAFL ensures maximum efficiency and results without human intervention.
The launch event successfully gathered hundreds of influential business partners, key figures in the agriculture industry, and notable leaders from various sectors. Dr. Md. Reajul Huq, the Director General of the Department of Livestock Services, was the esteemed Chief Guest for the occasion.
The event also saw the presence of distinguished individuals, including Sheikh Jasim Uddin, Managing Director & CEO of AKIJ Resource; Faria Hossain, Chairman of AKIJ Resource; A. K. Joaddar, Vice Chairman of AKIJ Resource; and A.T.M. Habib Ullah, CEO of AKIJ Agro Feed Ltd. The event marked a significant moment for the industry, reflecting the growing collaboration and commitment to excellence in agriculture and business.
The newly launched product line aims to produce and market high-quality poultry, cattle, and fish feed to meet market demand. AKIJ Agro feed initially curates a total of 58 SKUs of feed in different categories to meet the needs of poultry, including broiler, layer, and cock; the cattle feed category includes dairy and beef feed; and the fish category includes all types of floating, sinking, and shrimp feed. These scientifically developed feeds aim to deliver high-quality nutrition, ensuring healthier livestock, increased productivity, and sustainable livelihoods for farmers.
Emphasizing the role of the agriculture sector in accelerating national progress and calling on dealers and stakeholders to work unitedly for further development in this sector, the Chief Guest Dr. Md. Reajul Huq, Director General of the Department of Livestock Services said, “The agricultural sector is contributing to our national progress. Dealers and other stakeholders have contributed a lot to the development of this sector. My request to all stakeholders is that instead of blaming each other, we will all work together to expedite national progress and stand by the farmers and agri-entrepreneurs. In addition, we need to be more aware of the use of antibiotics. There is growing demand for our poultry feed products in the global market. I hope that AKIJ will continue its tradition of adding value to livestock farmers.”
Sheikh Jasim Uddin, the Managing Director and CEO of AKIJ Resources, is optimistic that AKIJ feed products will positively influence agricultural entrepreneurs in the market.
