Holiday Post Report: Islami Bank Hospital held a view-exchange meeting on "Cashless Payment in Healthcare Services" on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Islami Bank Foundation Auditorium, in alignment with Bangladesh Bank’s vision to build a cashless Bangladesh. Mohammad Zahir Hussain, Chairman of the Bank attended the program as the chief guest. Md. Altaf Hossain, Managing Director (Acting) presided over the program while A.N.M. Mohammad Zahir Hussainin his speech as the chief guest said that a cashless Bangladesh and digital transactions are not only a demand of the time, but also the main foundation for building a modern and efficient economy. Through Bangla QR, a timely initiative of Bangladesh Bank, the hassle and suffering of carrying cash in various institutions, including healthcare services are decreasing. As a result of introducing the QR-based payment system, counter transactions have become faster, easier and more convenient.
