Staff Reporter:  Community Bank Training Academy organized a day-long training workshop on "A-Challan Business Acquisition & Operation" at its Head Office in Dhaka.

The program was formally inaugurated by Mr. Shamsul Haque Sufyani, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Community Bank Bangladesh PLC., as the Chief Guest. In his speech, Mr. Sufyani highlighted the growing importance of digital integration and seamless government revenue collection through the Automated Chalan System (A-Challan). He emphasized the bank’s commitment to operational efficiency and enhancing customer experience through technological modernizations.

The technical and operational sessions were conducted by distinguished domain experts from the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance, including Mr. A.K.M. Mukhleshur Rahman (Senior Functional Consultant), Mr. Sharifur Rahman (Senior IT Consultant), and Mr. Md. Jobayer Ahammad (Junior Consultant). They provided comprehensive insights into the functional framework, CBS-iBAS++ API integration, system security, and live execution of over-the-counter A-Challan transactions. says press release

The inauguration ceremony was attended by key senior executives of the bank, including the Chief Business Officer (CBO), Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO), Head of Transaction Banking, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Head of Treasury, alongside other high-ranking officials and participants.

The workshop concluded with interactive feedback and evaluation sessions aimed at ensuring robust frontline implementation across all branches.
