HP News:The vibrant city of Dhaka came alive on Friday as the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon 2024 took center stage, hosting a record-breaking number of participants. With over 6000 runners, the marathon featured a diverse mix of enthusiasts, including international elite athletes and spirited South Asian runners. Among them, more than 5000 Bangladeshi runners have joined this marathon!!
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon was first held on January 10, 2021 to celebrate the homecoming day of Bangabandhu on his 100th Birth Anniversary. From then onwards it is being held every year to commemorate this significant event.On 2021, Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort had joined as a Hospitality Partner with Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathonfor the first time. And following the continuity, this year Dhaka Regency has again joined the event as a proudHospitality partner.
